Shunping SUS Renewable Energy Co., Ltd., situated in Puyang Town, Shunping County, occupies a strategic location at the north side of the junction of Shunwang Road and Baofu Expressway, approximately 600 meters eastbound on the north side of the road. Tasked with the harmless, reduction, and resource-based treatment of municipal solid waste across Shunping County, Quyang County, and Wangdu County, the project boasts a daily municipal solid waste treatment capacity of 1000 tons. Construction commenced on December 31, 2020, with the project being successfully connected to the grid for electricity generation on December 19, 2021.

The Shunping Waste-to-Energy PPP Project stands as a collaborative effort between Shanghai SUS Environment Co., Ltd., which holds a 95% stake, and Shunping Urban Construction Project Management Co., Ltd., with a 5% stake. This venture represents an environmentally conscious project endorsed by the state, aligning with national directives for sustainable development and environmental protection.

1. Contemporary Minimalist Design Concept

The factory facade embodies a contemporary and minimalist architectural style. With dignified sculptural elements and a sleek appearance, it is a modern interpretation of waste-to-energy plant architecture.



2. First Project in Hebei Province: Introduction of "Seven-Step Method" Flue Gas Purification Technology

As the inaugural project in Hebei Province to implement the innovative "Seven-Step Method" for flue gas purification, this system integrates various purification processes that include SNCR denitrification, semi-dry and dry desulfurization, activated carbon injection, bag filtration, SCR denitrification, and wet desulfurization. The flue gas emission standards exceed national standards (GB18485-2014) and also meet EU standards (2010/75/EU).

3. Cutting-Edge Standard Wastewater Treatment Technology

The project uses advanced techniques for leachate treatment and utilizes a comprehensive series of processes, including initial pretreatment, UASB anaerobic reactors, A/O aerobic system, MBR biochemical treatment systems, nano filtration membrane systems, and reverse osmosis systems. The treated water meets the stringent standards for open-loop cooling water system replenishment for industrial use as per "Water Quality for Urban Sewage Recycling and Reuse for Industrial Use" (GB19923-2005).

4. Highly Efficient and Environmentally Sustainable Incineration Technology

The project features an innovative SUS grate furnace known for its efficiency and environmental integrity. With its unique three-stage forward-movement design, drop-wall mechanisms, and modular construction, this furnace ensures stable operations, minimal pollutant emissions, and reduced slag residue.

5. Open and Beneficial Community Co-building

The project includes an environmental education exhibition hall accessible to the public throughout the year, without any associated fees. With approximately 20 annual visits from diverse segments of society, this endeavor fosters transparency and accountability. Real time disclosure of operational data including flue gas emissions further enhances public oversight and participation in project activities.
