In 2014, SUS ENVIRONMENT established its International Business Department, strategically targeting markets in Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East, with plans for expansion into South America, Europe, and Australia.
As a leading player in China's solid waste industry, SUS ENVIRONMENT leverages its robust innovation and financing capabilities, its advanced technology and equipment, its construction expertise, and, also, its flexible systems to forge partnerships at home and abroad. These partnerships enable SUS ENVIRONMENT to explore overseas environmental protection and new energy markets.
As of December 2023, SUS has established an investment platform in Hong Kong and representative offices in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Thailand. SUS has expanded its operations to over 10 countries along the Belt and Road initiative, and plans to establish branches in additional countries along this route.
Originating in China, our equipment and technology are now deployed in over 1,400 projects worldwide.
SUS is dedicated to offering comprehensive municipal solid waste management services to its international clientele. These services encompass investment, construction, and operation, with the goal of showcasing China's excellence in solid waste management on the global stage.
Jointly witnessed by leaders of both China and France, SUS signed the "Renewable Energy Development Platform Co-construction Agreement" with CIC, BNI, and Qair at the Elysee Palace in Paris. This agreement signifies the intention to commit €2 billion toward project investments.
H. E. Gao Jinhong, Secretary-General of ASEAN, visited SUS headquarters and commended SUS's solid waste treatment practices. SUS looks forward to jointly developing a green Belt and Road Initiative and advancing green and sustainable development in ASEAN.
SUS has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the International Environmental Technology Center (IETC), an organization under the umbrella of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). This agreement aims to enhance collaboration between the two entities in global solid waste management.
SUS and Standard Chartered China have signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Under this agreement, Standard Chartered China will provide comprehensive financial and financing services, actively supporting SUS's overseas waste-to-energy business and new energy projects.
