The Sanhe Domestic Waste Incineration Power Generation Project is located in the southwest of Xiaodingfuzhuang Village, Sanhe City, and  has a treatment capacity of 2,000 tons per day, mainly disposing of municipal solid waste in the whole city of Sanhe, serving a population of 1 million. As of June 30, 2024, the Sanhe Project has processed a total of 2.28 million tons of domestic waste, a cumulative on-grid electricity of about 800 million kWh, and a greenhouse gas emission reduction of about 1.48 million tons.

The Sanhe project has passed the quality, environment, occupational health and safety management system certification and the  waste-to-energy plant operation service certification, and has been rated as a national AAA waste-to-energy plant.

Project Highlights

1、Low-carbon emission

The Sanhe project adopts advanced technology combination, such as the first domestic incinerator with a daily processing capacity of 1,000 tons independently developed and manufactured by SUS ENVIRONMENT, ultra-high-pressure furnace dehumidification, reheating and high-efficiency waste heat utilization system technology (13.3MPa, 445°C), exhaust gas recirculation and other technologies. The power generation efficiency is increased by more than 31.6%, and the carbon emission reduction benefit is obvious. The incinerator employs high-temperature, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant materials, coupled with SUS proprietary grate technology, which is well-suited for high-moisture and low-heat-value waste, and a wider range of waste with lower heat value adaptability.

2、Ultra-clean

The Sanhe project adopts the "six-step method" flue gas cleaning combination process, and the flue gas emission standards are stricter than the national standards (GB18485-2014) and EU emission standards (2010/75/EU).

The Sanhe project has set up an automatic combustion control system (ACC system for short), which improves the volatility of the waste incineration process, improves the operational stability, and greatly improves the efficiency of combustion and power generation.
