The Sanhe Domestic Waste Incineration Power Generation Project is located in the southwest of Xiaodingfuzhuang Village, Sanhe City, and undertakes the "harmless, reduced and recycled" treatment of domestic waste in Sanhe City. The project has a domestic waste treatment capacity of 2,000 tons/day, started construction on June 28, 2019, and was connected to the grid for power generation on April 20, 2021.

The PPP project of domestic waste incineration power generation in Sanhe City is an important part of the "Habitat Sanhe" construction system project, and will become a new landmark of Sanhe City and a new symbol of urban green development. The project has been highly valued by the Sanhe Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, and has been ranked first among the "Top Ten Key Projects" in Sanhe City for consecutive years.

Project Highlights

1. "De-industrialization" design of heaven and earth

Designed by the famous French AIA Architectural Engineering Joint Design Group, the design theme is "Heaven and Earth", reinterpreting the contradiction and unity of heaven and earth. Heaven and earth, all things are opposites and unified, and under certain conditions, they can be transformed in opposite directions, implying that waste can be used as a resource through incineration to generate electricity.




2. The first set of 1,000-ton large grate made in China

The project is equipped with a single furnace scale of 1,000 tons/day SUS machinery grate, and the single furnace processing scale ranks first in the country. High temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, long service life and low maintenance costs.

3. Crowned 31.6% power generation efficiency in the country

Adopting the country's first innovative technology of off-furnace reheating, together with the automatic combustion control system for waste incineration and other technologies, the plant realizes the highest power generation efficiency of 31.6% in China. (The average power generation efficiency in the industry is only about 25%.)

4、Ultra-high flue gas emission standards

Adopting domestic advanced flue gas purification process, the project's flue gas emission standard is better than the national standard (GB18485-2014) and the EU standard (2010/75/EU).

5、Open Neighborhood Benefit Community Building

The project will build an environmental education base of more than 2,000 square meters from the first floor to the fifth floor, which will be open to the public on a regular basis. Continue to carry out environmental education activities related to children to build a green and sustainable community.
