SUS ENVIRONMENT attended ISWA World Congress and arranged Business Inspection in the Middle East

SUS ENVIRONMENT was invited to participate in the ISWA World Congress from October 30th to November 1st 2023, which was held in Muscat, the capital of Oman in the Arabian Peninsula, marking the first time the event took place in the Middle East and North Africa region. More than 1,200 delegates including scholars, government officials and enterprises from over 100 countries or regions around the world attended the congress.
With the theme of "Global action towards a net zero future", the congress organized over 80 sessions on climate change and circular economy, environmental governance structure, plastic pollution and the marine environment, discussing hot topics in the industry.
SUS ENVIRONMENT presented special reports at the congress on “Collaborative Sludge Drying and Incineration in Waste-to-Energy Plants” and “Enhancing Energy Efficiency in Municipal Solid Waste Incineration through Post-Combustion Reheating Technology.” These reports highlighted SUS Environment's technology and applications in co-processing various solid waste streams such as municipal solid waste and sludge, for energy production using the Eco-Industrial Park model. They also discussed the successful implementation of high-parameter outside furnace reheating technology in the Sanhe project.
As the vice president of China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association, SUS ENVIRONMENT participated in many activities organized by the association together with other outstanding enterprises and inspected the waste-to-energy project in Dubai which has been partially put into operation. This project, with a daily processing scale of about 5600 tons, is invested, constructed and operated by Hitachi Zosen Inova, the technical partner of SUS, and will become the world's largest waste-to-energy project after it is fully put into operation, showcasing the technological prowess of SUS-Hitachi Zosen-Vonroll grate to the world.
SUS ENVIRONMENT was also invited to participate in Dubai Business Forum 2023 hosted by Dubai Chamber of Commerce from 1st Nov. to 2nd Nov. Under the theme of "Shifting Economic Power: Dubai and the Future of Global Trade", focusing on four main topics: globalization, foreign direct investment, digital transformation, and emerging markets. Stakeholders from various sectors worldwide were invited to engage in in-depth discussions and explore collaboration opportunities.
Dr. Jisheng Long, Chairman of SUS ENVIRONMENT, was invited to be the VIP guest, representing China's waste-to-energy industry to participate in the congress and discuss the future with the guests from various industries. Other attendees included Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair, Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Abdullah, UAE Minister of Economy, Helal, Director General of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Saeed, CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Trichet, Former President of European Central Bank and others.
During his stay in Dubai, Dr. Long Jisheng also participated in the Sino-Arab Industry-Financing Innovation Cooperation Exchange Meeting, introducing SUS's unremitting exploration and successful practice in the field of solid waste.
In the future, SUS ENVIRONMENT will continue to expand into the international market, promoting waste-to-energy solutions and venturing into the global arena.
